We are proud to be one of the country's only museums dedicated to the story of rural healthcare. Step inside Winterville's 1874 doctors office to examine authentic artifacts used by Northeast Georgia's country doctors as they tended to the medical needs of their community. Then head outside to explore a 19th century Botanical Medicine Garden and learn how doctors and chemists made their own medications (coming Spring 2023!) Finally, change pace by visiting our new rotating exhibit gallery, featuring a new temporary exhibition every few months.
